Jme tour dates
Jme is the stage name of Jamie Adenuga, a North London-based grime MC, producer and DJ known for infusing his rap style with humour. He also operates the label, Boy Better Know, and is a co-founder of the grime crew of the same name. Jme showcases his solo efforts on three solo albums, numerous vinyl EPs and more than a dozen singles, most of which earned high spots on the UK Independent Singles Chart. As a live performer, Jme has impressed audiences across Europe and North America. The latest Jme tour represents a continuation of the innovative artist's ascendance as an ever-growing fan base discovers his sound.
Jme is a native of North London with a Nigerian heritage. His earliest forays into music-making, which followed his graduation from the University of Greenwich with a degree in 3-D digital design, involved creating ringtones for mobile phones. He moved on to more advanced electronic music programs and embraced the London-grown grime genre.
In the early 2000s, Jme became part of Meridian Crew. Some of London's pirate radio stations frequently featured their tracks on air. The crew disbanded in 2005 and gave rise to Boy Better Know, founded by Jme and his brother Skepta (Joseph Adenuga), along with members Wiley, Jammer, Frisco and Solo 45. Jme went on to release a number of 12-inch singles on the Boy Better Know label, as well as his solo albums, 2008's Famous?, 2010's Blam!, the 2011 compilation album History and 2015's Integrity>.
Jme's career milestones

Jme's self-produced second album Blam! made the UK album chart, marking a breakthrough into mainstream popularity. The album yielded the singles, "Over Me," "Sidetracked" featuring Wiley and "CD is Dead" featuring Tempa T.
Jme celebrated another milestone in 2015, when the Independent Music Companies Association nominated his third album, Integrity>, for the IMPALA Album of Year Award. The album also peaked at No. 12 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 1 on the UK R&B Albums Chart.
