Cardiff City tickets
Cardiff City FC - The surprise package of 2018
The men from the Welsh capital returned to the top flight after a four-year absence, finishing second in the 2017/18 Football League Championship under Neil Warnock. At times, the defence was impregnable, but there was more than enough in the final third to make it a comfortable promotion campaign. To witness the club's Premier League progress for yourself, now is the time to buy Cardiff City FC tickets on StubHub!
Cardiff City FC to fight the odds
2018/19 marked only the second Premier League season for the South Wales club. Neil Warnock largely stayed true to the side that reached the top flight, yet there were several significant additions in the attacking department, all of whom had the potential to get the goals needed to establish Cardiff in the top tier. Two men arrived for eight figures over the summer of 2018: left-winger Josh Murphy and attacking midfielder Bobby Reid. Murphy had prior experience of Premier League football, having kept Norwich City fighting all the way to the end in 2015/16 with the sort of good pace and attacking prowess that can only encourage fans to buy and sell Cardiff City FC tickets like never before! Meanwhile, Bobby Reid almost single-handedly kept Bristol City in the hunt for a Football League Championship playoff place in 2017/18 season, playing almost as a second striker in an extremely competitive league. Regardless of what happens in the coming years, Cardiff's first season in the top flight after a four-year absence will always be memorable - especially when Warnock's men face trips to big names such as Manchester City and Manchester United!
A second Premier League season in South Wales
Getting anywhere near the top has never been easy for Cardiff. Established in 1899 as Riverside AFC, the first taste of success for Cardiff came in the 1920s, when the club gained membership to the Football League as a Second Division team. The side immediately gained promotion and also reached F.A Cup final in 1925 and 1927. The post-war years were less kind to Cardiff. The 1960s heralded a relegation and a subsequent top-flight absence of five decades, and the club finally hit the bottom tier in 1986. The clubs fortune changed in the year 2000, with Sam Hammam being the first of several men to buy out the club in the 21st century. With more resources, Cardiff climbed the Football League, appearing in the 2008 F.A Cup final, and - at long last - reached the top tier in 2013. With a clearer vision this time around, everyone is confident that Cardiff City FC tickets on StubHub will be bought and sold as Premier League matches for the foreseeable future!
