Boyz II Men Biography - Philadelphia's Paramount Music Group

Quartet turned trio, these Philadelphia boys became a huge international success in the nineties. Originating as a foursome, Nathan Morris, Michael McCary, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman released their debut album Cooleyhighharmony in 1991 selling over nine million copies. Known for emotional ballads like 'End of the Road', the boys won the Grammy Award for 'Best R n B Performance', as well as taking home other accolades including MOBO's and American Music Awards by the bucketload.

In 1992, the four boys joined MC Hammer on tour as his opening act, boosting their fame even more. With hit singles 'I'll Make Love to you' and 'End of the Road' they stormed the music industry topping charts and breaking records. With McCary's departure from the group due to health issues, the boys continued to strive and boy has their hard work paid off. After a year out, the now trio created their independent MSM Music Group Label in 2004 and continued to produce hit albums. The success of their 2011 album Twenty once again wowed the music industry, causing anticipation of another fantastic tour amongst fans.
