This stadium was built specifically for soccer, as it's the home of the San Jose Earthquakes of the MLS. It opened in 2015 after about two and a half years of construction. It's a modern, privately-built venue, which is fitting since its namesake, Avaya, is a tech company based in Silicon Valley. The stadium's canopy roof provides shade for fans, and the steep grandstands allow everyone to have a great view from their seats. Behind the northeast goal, there's the largest outdoor bar in North America and a 2-acre fan zone. Capacity is approximately 18,000, with suites and club seats located right next to the action on the field level. In general, the more affordable seats are located at the corners and ends of the field, and the prime seats are situated along the mid-field line. In addition to hosting the Earthquakes home games, the venue has also held rugby matches and women's soccer games. At StubHub, you can reserve your Avaya Stadium tickets.
Where can I park?

Is public transportation available?
If you'd like to ride the Caltrain, take it to the Santa Clara Station, which is about a 15-minute walk away. If you're closer to a BART station, ride the BART to the Millbrae Transit Station, where you'll transfer to the Caltrain. For those coming from Downtown San Jose, There are several Lux Buses that make frequent loops between the stadium and the downtown district on game days. These travel from St. John and Market Streets to the intersection of Earthquakes Way and Coleman Avenue and this service is complimentary. Shuttle service starts two hours before kickoff, continuing until the match begins, and post-game service starts after the match concludes and continues for 45 minutes.
